Arsenal have rejected two loan offers for key defenders Jakub Kiwior and Takehiro Tomiyasu.
This move comes amidst AC Milan’s active search for defensive reinforcements.
Arsenal have recently rejected two loan offers for first-team squad members Jakub Kiwior and Takehiro Tomiyasu.
AC Milan, who are finaising the return of Matteo Gabbia, had shown interest in loaning both Kiwior and Tomiyasu from Arsenal. However, according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport, the Gunners are not inclined to part with either player.
As a result, Milan have shifted their focus towards Lilian Brassier, a defender from Brest valued at around €10 million.
Brassier is emerging as a more feasible option than Clement Lenglet, the Barcelona-owned defender currently on loan at Aston Villa, who commands a significantly higher salary.
In related news, Arsenal are said to be in talks with Tomiyasu over a new contract.
