Recent reports from Italy indicate Jakub Kiwior’s interest in a Serie A return, with AC Milan and Juventus emerging as preferred destinations but his agent has already rubbished claims he wants to leave.

Recent reports from Italy have suggested that Arsenal‘s Jakub Kiwior is open to a return to Serie A, with a preference for either AC Milan or Juventus.

This comes just one year after Kiwior’s move to Arsenal from Spezia.

The report claims that Kiwior, who joined Arsenal for €25 million, with a contract running until 2027, initially seemed an integral part of the team’s plans. However, that was never the case as the player was purchased with one eye on the future.

It goes on to say that recent developments suggest Arsenal’s stance on keeping him ‘at all costs’ has softened since the start of the month, which seems unlikely given how short the club are at the back.

They says this change in attitude, which they appear to have imagined, aligns with Kiwior’s desire for more playing time, particularly in light of the upcoming European Championships and his role in the Polish national team.

TMW reports that Kiwior is considering a move back to Serie A. His preferences are clear: AC Milan and Juventus are at the top of his list, which is handy as they are the two clubs who have been most heavily linked with him.

Milan has been monitoring Kiwior for some time, while Juventus’s interest, under the direction of football executive Cristiano Giuntoli, dates back to the player’s time at Spezia. Notably, Giuntoli’s interest in Kiwior began during his tenure at Napoli.

While an offer from a major club like Milan or Juventus would be seriously considered says the report, a move to Roma would require additional efforts, including convincing Arsenal to agree to a loan.

It goes on to say that the situation, however, appears complex for the current transfer window. Despite Arsenal’s slight shift in stance, they are yet to show openness to loaning Kiwior with an option to buy.

Funny that.

In addition, Kiwior’s agent has already dismissed rumours.

The likelihood of a deal seems more feasible in June, says the report, given the current constraints of time in the current transfer window.

Milan, in particular, is believed to have the financial capability to secure Kiwior’s services. Juventus, on the other hand, has already positioned itself with the acquisition of Tiago Djalò.
