As the summer transfer window heads towards its last month, Arsenal are reportedly working on three distinct deals involving David Raya, Matt Turner, and Auston Trusty.

A potential influx and efflux of players are expected at the Emirates Stadium in the final weeks.

David Raya, Brentford’s first-choice keeper, is reportedly attracting attention from Arsenal once again.

The Gunners are keen to add Raya to their ranks to compete with Aaron Ramsdale for the starting spot. A

lthough a formal offer is yet to be submitted, Brentford are aware of Arsenal’s interest. With Raya’s current contract set to expire in 2024, this is a crucial window for Brentford if they decide to cash in.

Notably, Raya appears to favour a move to Arsenal over another interested club, Bayern Munich.

The German giants reportedly sought a loan deal for Raya, which is less appealing for both the player and Brentford.

Further fuelling the speculations, Raya was recently left out of Brentford’s squad for pre-season friendlies.

Meanwhile, Nottingham Forest are in ongoing discussions to sign Arsenal’s backup keeper Matt Turner.

David Ornstein reports that Forest are keen on acquiring the American goalkeeper on a permanent basis, though the clubs are still trying to reach a consensus on the transfer fee.

Turner, who made seven appearances for Arsenal last season, is seemingly surplus to requirements at the Emirates, particularly as Arsenal continue their pursuit of David Raya. The potential move to Forest could provide Turner with the regular first-team football he craves.

In other news, Sheffield United have reportedly agreed on a deal worth around £5m with Arsenal for defender Auston Trusty.

Personal terms are still to be sorted, but Sheffield United’s interest in the former Birmingham City loanee is clear.

Trusty has been linked with several clubs this summer, including Rangers and Ipswich Town, but Sheffield United seem to have taken the driving seat.

Trusty’s successful loan spell with Birmingham City last season, where he won the Supporters’ Player of the Season award, has likely increased his appeal.
