In a recent interview, Arsenal midfielder and Swiss national team captain Granit Xhaka engaged in conversation with Swiss TikTok sensation Barrelo. Despite boasting a following of more than 600,000 on the platform, Barrelo seemed to lack fundamental knowledge about football during their exchange.

Throughout the interview, Xhaka encountered an array of odd questions, including an inquiry about the alleged connection between professional footballers and the Illuminati. In response, Xhaka simply laughed and shook his head.

Adding to the interview’s eccentric nature, various filters, such as a mustache and cowboy hat, were placed over Xhaka’s face.

The interview took an even stranger turn when Barrelo, dressed in an Arsenal jacket, appeared to have limited knowledge about the team and Xhaka’s career.

He asked Xhaka about his residence and why he spoke German, despite living in London. Xhaka patiently explained that he was born in Switzerland and had spent four years in Mönchengladbach.

Barrelo’s involvement in controversies, such as allegations of faking a cancer diagnosis for donations, and his public association with ‘clan leader Arafat Abou-Chaker’ further contributed to the ‘bizarre’ atmosphere of the conversation.

When Xhaka questioned Barrelo’s authenticity as an Arsenal fan, the TikTok influencer attributed his lack of football knowledge to his preoccupation with creating content for the platform.
