So far this season, Thuram has scored 10 goals in 18 league games and is currently enjoying the best goal-scoring spell of his career. Clubs such as Barcelona, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are also said to be interested in signing the French striker.

The 25-year-old French international’s contract with the German club is set to end this summer, making him a target for several European clubs.

If Arsenal were to sign Thuram, it would cast doubt over the future of striker Folarin Balogun. Balogun is currently on loan at Reims and is the top scorer in Ligue 1, but his future at the Gunners remains uncertain due to interest from AC Milan.

Chelsea are also said to be in the running to sign Thuram as a potential replacement for Joao Felix. Felix joined the Blues on loan last month but, although there is no option to buy in Felix’s current loan deal, he recently hinted that he would be open to a longer stay under coach Graham Potter.

The French forward could be a valuable addition to both Chelsea and Arsenal, as they look to strengthen their attack and get their stalling seasons back on track. With his contract set to end this summer, the race for Marcus Thuram’s signature is heating up.
