Arsenal forward Gabriel Martinelli has agreed to a new contract with the club, extending his stay at the Emirates Stadium until 2027.

Gabriel Martinelli has agreed a new deal with Arsenal that will see him extend his stay, although it was never really in doubt given how Martinelli has previously spoken about how much he loves Arsenal.
Martinelli’s current contract was set to expire at the end of next season, but the club held a two-year option to extend it until 2026.
However, the Brazilian has now agreed to fresh terms, finalising a four-and-a-half-year agreement with the north London side according to David Ornstein in the Athletic.
Since signing for Arsenal in 2019, Martinelli has often spoken about how much he loves the club and wants to remain at Arsenal for the rest of his life hoping, one day, to become the club captain.
Currently earning £70kpw, Martinelli’s wages are expected rise to around £200kpw which is consistent with what has been reported for a few months now.

Martinelli isn’t just ‘said to be happy’ in London, as that article states. He has actually said he is happy.
“I’m very happy at Arsenal,” Martinelli said just last month.
“I said it many times. This is my club. I love to be here, I love the city, I love the club, I love everything about Arsenal.
“So I want to stay. I’m very happy. Yeah, just need to get a pen!”
After his World Cup performances for Brazil there has been a lot of interest in Martinelli from some of the biggest clubs in the world.
He has rejected all of them to stay with Arsenal, the club he rejected 25 others for in 2019.
At just 21 years old, Martinelli has more than impressed since he arrived as a teenager three-and-a-half years ago.
Playing 26 games in all competitions this season, scoring 7 goals and assisting three, Martinelli has 25 goals and six assists since he arrived in England.
