Arsenal will hold a special reveal event on Wednesday evening to unveil their new stadium artwork, though it’s not clear when the general public will see it.

Football.London report that some Arsenal supporters will get their first look at the new Emirates Stadium wrap on Wednesday evening, during a special reveal event.

Those who have contributed to the designs are believed to have been invited, and Arsenal are hinting on social media that the general public will also get their first look at 6pm.

Back in November, Arsenal fans spotted the old exterior artwork around the Emirates Stadium being removed.

But it was quickly confirmed that replacement designs were still being finalised, and wouldn’t be installed until January.

Previous reports revealed that the Newcastle match should be the last game with the exposed concrete, and it seems the new wrap is now ready to be unveiled.

Arsenal had previously confirmed that they’ve been working with fans on new designs since April.

The new artwork is part of a number of upgrades Arsenal are making to the stadium this year.

As regular match-goers will already be aware, the big screens in the stands were replaced over the summer, and the turnstiles have been upgraded, as well as new beer stations being installed in the Upper Tier.

Work on the roof is ongoing as well, to address leaks. There’s also talk of a new sound system for the ground.

One thing we won’t be getting is external screens in place of the old banners, with the club ruling out that option due to council restrictions.
