Arsenal are known to be looking to reinforce three positions in January and want to bring in a left-sided centreback, a winger and a midfielder.

The club have been linked with Danilo since last January and it seems as if they are finally getting close to landing their man, if we are to believe the report from Bola VIP.

They state that Palmeiras are willing to let the 21-year-old leave now that their Copa Libertadores campaign is over and that the player is ‘highly rated to play for Arsenal’.

The Brazilian news outlet also note that Palmeiras have identified Danilo’s replacement in Udinese’s 27-year-old Brazilian Walace.

Arsenal have been scouting Danilo extensively over the past year and it is believed the player will cost around £25m, not including wages.

As mentioned, with wide forward and a left-sided centreback also on Mikel Arteta’s shopping list, Mykhaylo Mudryk and Evan Ndicka have both been repeatedly mentioned in terms of a move to Arsenal in January.
