Amario Cozier-Duberry has signed his first professional contract with Arsenal, following his 17th birthday last month.

Arsenal confirmed on Thursday that Amario Cozier-Duberry had signed his first professional contract with the club.
The announcement comes less than two weeks after Cozier-Duberry’s 17th birthday – when you become eligible for a professional deal. So it’s clear that Arsenal wanted to get the youngster signed up quickly.
“This is a very proud moment for me,” Cozier-Duberry said afterwards.
“It’s a great achievement and I’m really grateful for this opportunity.
“My ambition is to break into the under-23’s squad more and hopefully get my chance with the first team too.”
The 17-year-old looks like a top young talent, and he’s been a regular in the England u17s recently.
Cozier-Duberry has never disappointed with the national side, with at least one goal or assist on each of his call-ups in October, February, March, and this month.
For Arsenal, the left-footed teenager scored five and assisted six goals this season. He even managed a goal and an assist for the u23s, despite only making a few appearances at that level.

A technically-gifted midfielder who usually plays out wide on the left for Arsenal, Cozier-Duberry’s next step will be finding more regular football for the u23s, and continuing to take his chances when they come.
