Jordi Osei-Tutu is still in training with Arsenal whilst he works on achieving full fitness, despite completing a loan to Rotherham United.

Jordi Osei-Tutu’s deadline-day loan to Rotherham United was somewhat of a surprise, particularly given a general understanding that he was still out injured.
It appears that assessment was correct, as the player is still working on making a full recovery back at Arsenal before linking up with his new teammates.
Osei-Tutu was in training with the Arsenal first-team this week, but he’ll presumably head off to Rotherham as soon as he’s ready.
In early January, Arsenal confirmed that Osei-Tutu had returned to North London following the termination of his loan at Forest. The 23-year-old made four appearances in few months marred by injury problems.
After a couple of early starts for Forest in August, Osei-Tutu suffered a hamstring injury in Forest’s game against Blackburn Rovers.
The right-back had three hamstring setbacks with Cardiff City last campaign, so it must have felt like groundhog day. He spent almost four months out of action this time around.
Osei-Tutu then made his return from injury in December, playing 89 minutes against Swansea City and starting a home game against Hull City.
However, after picking up a knock with a contact injury in the first half, Osei-Tutu was unable to continue, eventually being substituted in the 40th minute.

Rather than another hamstring injury, it turned out Osei-Tutu had an ankle problem, and he faced another two months out.
We’re a little over a month into that timeframe, and it looks like he’s ahead of schedule as things stand. But with his recent history, Arsenal will want to be careful to hold him back until they’re sure he can put a run of games together without a new problem.
