Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale had an excellent November, which he’ll probably largely remember for a clean sheet on his England debut, but he also kept two for his club.

Ramsdale kicked off the month with a clean sheet in a 1-0 win over Watford, and ended it with another in a 2-0 win over Newcastle United.

Unfortunately, there was the 4-0 thrashing by Liverpool in between.

Even then, Ramsdale came out of the game with a lot of credit, having arguably prevented the scoreline from being even worse.

The result is that the 23-year-old is up for the PFA Premier League Fans’ Player of the Month award for November.

Joao Cancelo and Bernardo Silva (Manchester City), Diogo Jota (Liverpool), Reece James (Chelsea), and Teemu Pukki (Norwich City) are the other nominees this month.

Ramsdale’s signing continues to look like one of the major success stories of Arsenal’s summer, which is amusing considering how it was treated at the time.

With the team in the form they’re in right now, they need Ramsdale to keep putting in these performances for the rest of the season.
