Hector Bellerín hasn’t yet received an official contract offer from Arsenal, and the player and his representatives are still reviewing their options.
The Guardian reported just over a week ago that Arsenal hadn’t yet lost hope that Hector Bellerin would end up remaining with the club, despite being heavily linked with a move away.
The report suggested Arsenal were preparing to offer Bellerin a new deal, and informed the player’s representatives of as much in a meeting with Edu. But sources close to Bellerin’s camp claim no such offer is on the table just yet.
TheAFCBell report that Bellerín has not yet received an official contract offer, and his camp are still evaluating all options and listening to all proposals for his services. They point out that there’s still a while left of the transfer window remaining.
After very limited participation in the early stages of pre-season and some games where he didn’t even come off the bench, Bellerín has been more involved in the last week.
He even started against Spurs on Sunday, hinting at possible participation against Brentford on the Premier League opening day. Yet as things stand, he doesn’t have an offer from Arsenal and an exit is still very possible in the coming weeks.
