TheAFCBell report that sources close to Alexandre Lacazette claim he’s made his final decision on his future, choosing to stay with Arsenal until the end of his contract before moving on a free transfer next summer.

As things stand, the player’s camp aren’t expecting any major developments for the remainder of the window.

Chris Wheatley reports something similar, writing that Lacazette looks set to see out his contract with Arsenal.

GFFN recently reported that Lacazette’s agents Score Agencies offered him out to pretty much every top European club in the last couple of weeks. Unfortunately, the sides interested in him could only afford a loan, which Arsenal don’t want.

So it’s not particularly surprising Lacazette is staying, as there weren’t any great options to leave. The issue is that he also doesn’t seem set to extend his Arsenal deal, meaning he’ll depart the club for nothing. But it’s not as if we couldn’t have seen that coming too.
