Alexandre Lacazette’s agency have offered him around for the last couple of weeks, but the only interested clubs can’t afford him, according to a report.
GFFN report that Score Agencies have offered Alexandre Lacazette out to pretty much every top European club in the last couple of weeks. Unfortunately, the sides interested in him can only afford a loan, which Arsenal don’t want.
Juventus, who may well be in the market for a striker if Cristiano Ronaldo leaves, currently have other priorities. So it doesn’t look like a move is particularly likely right now.
This is in keeping with a report by TheAFCBell from earlier this week. They wrote that a source close to Lacazette informed them the player is more likely to stay at Arsenal than leave in the current window, barring an unmissable late opportunity.
But on the other side of things, they also claimed there are no signs of any agreement between the club and the player’s camp over an extension. Right now, Lacazette is most likely to stay for one more season and then leave on a free transfer.
Arsenal struggled during the absence of Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the opening couple of Premier League matchdays, failing to score a goal. Lacazette was then on the scoresheet after coming off the bench on his return in the League Cup on Wednesday.
