Twitter user iemadAFC shared new leaked pictures of the Arsenal third kit for the upcoming season on Monday, giving us a full view of the updated shirt design.

As you can see, the new shirt features a turquoise graphic and a blue lightning bolt pattern with red highlights. The shoulder stripes and the sponsors are in white, whilst the Adidas logo is two-coloured.

Interestingly, the shirt appears to be taking inspiration from old Arsenal Nike kits, as they released Blue Lightning shirts in 1994 and 1995.

So far, Arsenal have officially released the away kit and the home kit, which has given them enough options for the friendly matches so far. Most likely, they’ll wear the home kit against both Chelsea and Spurs in The Mind Series friendlies.

As for the third kit, FootyHeadlines report that the release date is in August.

The colours in the photos above appear slightly lighter than in previous leaks, suggesting it was just the lighting that made the shirt look a bit darker, as suspected at the time.
