Fabrizio Romano is seemingly ruling out an Inter Milan move for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang this summer, even if the Serie A club sell Lautaro Martinez.

Speaking to Calciomercato, Fabrizio Romano ruled out an Inter Milan move for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, along with a couple of others.

Inter are preparing for the possible departure of Lautaro Martinez this summer and looking for a striker to replace him. One reader asked if it’s true if Werner, Aubameyang, Cavani, Aguero and Moussa Dembele are all on the list.

Romano ruled out three of them, however, responding: “Dembelé, Aguero and Aubameyang are not on Inter’s list.”

This ties in with Gianluca Di Marzio’s recent report that Inter aren’t in talks with the Arsenal forward. Di Marzio claimed they weren’t in any kind of contact with the Gunners, even over something as simple as a fee enquiry.

That’s one fewer club we have to worry about coming in for Aubameyang in the next window.

This doesn’t mean the 30-year-old won’t have options if he does want to leave. In the last two weeks alone, new reports about PSG and Napoli interest hit the headlines. That’s in addition to lingering talk of Barcelona, Real Madrid and the rest following him.
