Real Madrid have reportedly given Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang until 15 June to make up his mind about joining them according to reports in the Sunday papers.

Aubameyang is out of contract next summer and Arsenal had been hoping a return to the Champions League would help convince him to renew at the club. With all that up in the air because of the global pandemic, nobody really knows what to will happen.

Real Madrid are reportedly interested in some sort of swap-deal involving Dani Ceballos which is unlikely to go down well with the Arsenal fanbase considering how much we adore Auba and hardly remember Ceballos exists.

Without a player-swap, Real Madrid expect to have to pay around £40m for the player.

Besides, Ceballos wants to return to Madrid and has always made that clear, however he wants assurances that he will play under Zinedine Zidane and they are unlikely to be forthcoming given he was sent to Arsenal to prove himself.

It is claimed that the date of mid-June has been set to coincide with a decision regarding the return of La Liga.
