Lee Dixon has delivered a message of thanks to NHS staff as he hopes to help convince more people to stay at home as the sun shines and the temptation to run free grows in many despite the dangers.

The former Arsenal defender saved most of his praise for a local hospital he’s spent a lot of time at himself but the general message was clear – the NHS staff and everyone else on the frontline are amazing and you need to #stayhomesavelives.
