As people continue to take this less seriously than they should, none moreso than the UK and USA governments, it might not be a bad idea for people who have been to The Emirates lately to start thinking about self-isolating.

This isn’t all about you getting sick, it’s about breaking the chains that allow this to spread.

Anyway, with all football suspended until at least April, the whole of Arsenal are in lockdown and players and staff are now locking themselves away – again, not only to stop themselves from getting it, but to break the chain that leads to the death of a stranger down the line.

It was announced on Thursday evening that Arteta had tested positive. If you’re wondering why you are hearing about so many famous people catching the virus, that’s simply because they’re the ones getting tested.

People like you and me, we just have to take our chances, which is why it is imperative we all start thinking about our community, not just ourselves.
