At least nine of Arsenal’s sponsorship deals are set to come to an end this summer, based on the club website.

TheShortFuse note that if you compare the list of sponsors on Arsenal’s website in April versus in June, the total number has dropped from 29 to 20. Deals with BetConstruct, BYD, Gatorade, 12Bet, Betfair, SBL, SportPesa, Star and Tempobet have all been removed from the site at this stage.

They won’t be the last to leave this summer either, as Puma are still front and centre on the current list. However, we already know that the kit manufacturer will be replaced by a new larger deal with Adidas in July, so that’s not going to be a problem.

The task at hand is to replace the other nine sponsors that are dropping off. The longer Arsenal spend outside the Champions League, the more difficult you’d imagine it’s going to be to replace old deals with new contracts that are just as competitive in the current market.

On the other hand, the new setup in the Arsenal hierarchy is meant to help ensure the commercial side of the club can stay focused on acquiring/managing new sponsors without it impacting any other club operations, like transfers and contract extensions. This summer is the perfect opportunity to prove that’s the case.
