Arsenal blew the chance to go third when they lost 1-0 at Goodison Park on Sunday afternoon, making nobody feel confident about their chances of sealing top four given the number of away games we have left.

Mesut Ozil 4.5

Handed the captain’s armband and his first start away from home in the league since Boxing Day, Mesut failed to impress anyone, although how much he can be expected to do when he is supported by an Elneny-Guendouzi partnership is up for debate. Should do more than this, however.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan 4.5

Did little all afternoon, but did go relatively close with a long-range effort.

Alexandre Lacazette 6.5

Worked hard all afternoon and was denied yet another stonewall penalty.
