Arsenal have sent scouts to watch AS Roma star Cengiz Under again, according to reports in Italy, with the Serie A club willing to sell for €50m next summer.

A reporter for Italian outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport, Nicolo Schira, claimed Arsenal are ‘really interested’ in Under. They reportedly sent a scout to watch him in Roma’s match against Inter Milan at the weekend.

If that’s the case, the scouts would’ve been impressed by what they saw, with Under scoring an excellent goal in the Serie A clash. That puts the winger on four goals and five assists so far this season, from 17 appearances (13 starts).

Meanwhile, Dean Jones of Bleacher Report claims Arsenal are one of three Premier League clubs following the Turkish international, along with Manchester City and Spurs. He writes that Roma are ‘likely to sell’ Under at the end of the season.

Another recent report from ESPN suggested that Under would be keen on a Premier League transfer when he leaves Roma. However, they think the 21-year-old would be against a January move as it stands.

As mentioned in previous reports on Under, Roma are looking to get the player tied down to a new contract. The Serie A side want to include a buyout clause in the deal worth around £40-50m. We’ll see if all Arsenal’s scouting convinces them to pay up.
