Robert Pires was one of the greatest players to ever play for Arsenal Football Club. The former French forward joined Arsenal in 2000 from Marseille for £11m. Pires left Arsenal for Villareal in 2006 on a free transfer. In total, he made 284 appearances for Arsenal and scored 84 goals. Bobby wore the number 7 shirt for Arsenal. The World Cup winner was part of the Invincibles squad that won the league without losing a match. He was born on October 29, 1973. Pires’ son, Theo, is part of the Arsenal Academy.
