Arsenal gave Arsene Wenger one final win as a send off on Sunday afternoon, with a 1-0 victory over Huddersfield Town.

The win brought to an end 22 years in charge of the club for the Frenchman, and the flowing final goal typified the way his teams have played over the years.

It also meant the side managed to pick up their first away points of the campaign, which should hopefully put that particular record out of the players’ heads before next season.

Here are our final individual player ratings of the season:

4Substitutes

Danny Welbeck 7

Welbeck was lively when he came on, and created a great chance for himself by taking on the Huddersfield defence at the end. Unfortunately he couldn’t convert it, and maybe should’ve looked to set up Lacazette instead.

Nacho Monreal 7

Monreal didn’t really have much to do after coming on for his cameo appearance. He completed 10 passes, made one clearance and won his only aerial duel, but that was about it.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles 7

As usual, Maitland-Niles looked almost too comfortable out on the pitch. Nothing seems to phase him, which is good in general, but also worrying when he casually passes the ball away in the defensive third. He escaped pressure from three Huddersfield players well at one point though.

Overall he was deserving of Arsene Wenger’s final substitution after his fantastic progress this season. Hopefully the new manager can keep that going.
