Arsenal Women are finally back in business – they’ve won a trophy for the first time since 2016 with their 1-0 defeat against Manchester City in the Conti Cup.
It was a game of two halves, with Arsenal dominant in the first part of the game, while City were all over us in the second half and could/should have scored at least one goal. But heroic and committed defending from the 11 Arsenal players led to a clean sheet and a 1-0 win.
