Arsenal put in arguably their best performance of the season so far against Spurs at the Emirates on Saturday afternoon.

Admittedly, I’m not sure many fans predicted a win against our bitter north London rivals this weekend. However, those of us who did think we would get battered by Spurs are hugely glad to be wrong on this occasion.

Every single player turned up in style against Spurs, who are now only one point above Arsenal in the Premier League table, and it was an electrifying display.

Although the result could have gone either way during the opening 20 minutes, with the Gunners probably having the better of the chances, after that, it was all Arsenal and they could have won by several goals if their finishing had been on-point.

Here’s how they all got on individually.

Mesut Ozil – 10

This was one of Ozil’s best games for Arsenal. He made FOUR key passes, assisted Mustafi’s goal, and never stopped trying to pick a pass and influence the game, even when he was clearly knackered towards the end.

When he plays like that, he’s unbeatable.

Alexis Sanchez – 9

A brilliant performance from the Chilean – in stark contrast to his display against Manchester City.

The forward scored, completed five dribbles and had SIX shots.

Alexandre Lacazette – 8

Although the striker failed to score, he assisted Alexis’ goal and got into some brilliant positions, he just seemed a tiny bit off the pace.
