Arsenal staged a second half comeback to defeat Swansea.

Another home game, another win. Arsenal have been doing pretty well at home this season. They were so confident that they thought to give Swansea a head start.

Sam Clucas’ first half goal was enough to turn the Emirates crowd into a groaning mess. Arsenal’s performance was lacking in quality, but they found just enough of it in the second to turn things around. Sead Kolasinac fired them level before setting up Aaron Ramsey for the winner.

It wasn’t as slick a performance as it was against Everton, but a win is a win.

Here’s how the players got on.

Mesut Ozil 5

Ozil was a creative force last week, but quieter on Saturday.

Swansea defended well, while Arsenal’s movement off the ball wasn’t quite good enough to break them down.

He did, though, show good work ethic in closing people down and making runs, and came into the game more when the game opened up in the second half.

Alexis Sanchez 5

A lively performance from the Chilean, but not the most effective.

He was the most likely to make something happen in the first half, but faded as the game went on.

Still, his presence on the left opened up space for Kolasinac to exploit, and the two combined well throughout the game.

Alexandre Lacazette 4

The Frenchman was starved of any meaningful service throughout the game, and didn’t get involved with the build-up play much, either.

He showed good endeavour during the equaliser, but will have better games.
