With Arsenal set to sign Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette any day now, Gooners’ attitude towards Arsene Wenger appears to have shifted… at least for the moment.

Lacazette’s £52m move to Arsenal is set to be announced any day now and fans believe the 26-year-old could be the top striker the Gunners have needed since Robin van Persie left in 2012.
After finishing fifth last season and Wenger then extending his deal by two years, Gooners had become seriously disillusioned with club and the manager, despite the FA Cup final win over Chelsea.
Wenger’s move for Lacazette appears to have pulled most Arsenal fans out of their summer slump, as many are hailing the Frenchman as ‘genius’ for managing to nab the striker with the best conversion rate in Europe (38.9%), and even suggesting that the Lyon man could be the superstar striker they’ve been crying out for.
Hopefully, this is a sign of things to come.
