Juventus are reportedly hoping that £7m will be enough to tempt Arsenal into selling Wojciech Szczesny this summer.

As much as we hate to admit it, it looks pretty certain that Woj will be signing for Juventus this summer after two years on loan at Roma, but at least Arsenal are reportedly playing hardball over his transfer fee.

The Serie A giants apparently believe that if they offer £7m, it will be enough to get Arsenal to part with their future number one, claim Gazzetta dello Sport [via Sport Witness].

The Gunners are demanding £13m for the 27-year-old, while the Old Lady were allegedly only willing to offer £4.4m for the Poland international, who they want to replace Italy legend, Gianluigi Buffon.

story trackerThey believe that since Woj only has a year left on his current deal with Arsenal that they shouldn’t have to pay as much as £13m.

However, they’re willing to compromise by offering £7m.

Juve are also allegedly going to offer Woj £76k-per-week in wages, which he’s said to have already agreed upon.
