With Milan’s Gianluigi Donnarumma keen to leave this summer, Juventus are reportedly making him a top priority, ahead of Arsenal’s Wojciech Szczesny.
- Donnarumma declined a contract extension with Milan and could leave this summer
- He’s said to be Juventus’ main target as Buffon’s successor
- Inter Milan are also interested in Szczesny
The 18-year-old Italian has opted not to extend his contract with Milan and is now, with 12 months left on his current, expected to leave the club this summer. And as reported in the Daily Star, this has alerted Juventus and Real Madrid, who both have a keen interest in Donnarumma.
Juventus are prepared to wait and see what comes of Donnarumma’s situation rather than chase Szczesny. Despite reportedly having agreed terms with the latter, Arsenal’s £20m asking price is something of a stumbling block. Their offer of £4m falls way short of Arsenal’s valuation which was initially £13m.
Inter Milan are also interested in Szczesny and feel they ave a chance of signing him with Juventus having failed to complete the deal.
