Arsenal are reportedly hoping to make four ‘huge’ summer signings.

  • Gunners want to revamp squad over summer
  • Plan on making four signings

After a disastrous season, which could see Arsenal finish outside the top four for the first time in over two decades, the Gunners are apparently looking to rebuild and revamp their squad over the summer.

According to the Mirror, they plan to do this by signing four players: Monaco’s Thomas Lemar, Lyon’s Alexandre Lacazette, Schalke’s Sead Kolasinac, and Southampton’s Virgil van Dijk.

Lemar, 21, has enjoyed a brilliant season, scoring nine Ligue 1 goals and assisting seven.

The winger has three years left on his current deal and Arsene Wenger apparently tried to sign him previously.

Lacazette, as we all know, has been heavily linked with Arsenal since last season and the Gunners have apparently made the striker their top priority this summer.

A deal between Arsenal and Kolasinac was supposedly ‘95% done’ recently. However, nothing has been announced yet and Manchester City continue to be linked, especially in the German press.

Virgil van Dijk has missed 126 days (and counting) through an ankle injury this season and although he was brilliant for the Saints, they reportedly want to cash in on him. However, it seems that Liverpool is a far more likely destination for the £50m defender.
