Alexis Sanchez was probably Arsenal’s best player against West Brom.
Not that this says much considering how poor the majority of them were.
Alexis Sanchez's first half by numbers vs. West Brom:
100% take-ons completed
3 tackles won
2 shots
1 chance created
1 goal pic.twitter.com/W4zRFpaaOw— Squawka Football (@Squawka) March 18, 2017
The Chilean scored the Gunners’ only goal before having to get subbed off to protect his ankle following a tackle from James McClean in the first half.
It’s no secret that Alexis only has until 2018 on his Arsenal contract and with Juventus being heavily linked with a move for the forward, most Gooners find it hard to believe that Alexis even wants to be at the club anymore.
Here’s what else Twitter had to say about the 28-year-old during the 3-1 loss to the Baggies.

The positive part of Alexis not getting those fouls is that looks like his english has improved. Flawless complaining.

Chelsea are known as a big strong side so systematic fouling on Hazard gets punished. "Soft Arsenal" & Sanchez dont get protection like that
