So, you finished work on Friday, switched off all your devices, and didn’t look until now, right?

Here’s what you missed.

First, there was the small matter of our first Premier League win of the season.

We turned our Player Focus on Granit XhakaSanti Cazorla and Mesut Ozil. We dished out player ratings and talked about Granit’s great balls and some other things we noticed in the game.

Anita produced an absolutely stonking first wallpaper of the season featuring Granit, it was so good it went on all our screens.

Arsene Wenger then sent us all in a spin by confirming the deals for Shkodran Mustafi and Lucas Perez. They’ll likely be announced on Tuesday.

If that wasn’t enough for a weekend, Arsenal weren’t done.

Mustafi gave his first interview since it was revealed that we had signed him.

He confirmed the length of his deal, said Mesut assisted him (quickly) in making up his mind, plus told us how long he’s signed for and what he thinks of Arsene Wenger.

As for Lucas Perez, we also learned that Arsenal will double the wages he was earning with Depor, but that means just a £40k per week salary which is significantly less than many were expecting.

There is no injury concern for Nacho who just got a ‘kick,’ there were no minutes on Friday or Saturday for any Arsenal players but Joel Campbell got his Sporting debut coming on with 23 minutes left as they beat Porto 2-1. Woj played as Roma won.

Gossip, and there was only one real story that anyone was talking about (that wasn’t Mustafi or Perez related because they are no longer ‘gossip’ and now ‘news’) and that was Arsenal trying to sign Antoine Griezmann. It seems we really did want him but the player is happy in Spain and his family are settled.

Can’t argue with that, really, can you?
