Kurt Zouma has taken to twitter to apologise for telling the truth and calling his own teammate, Diego ‘cheaty’ Costa a cheat.

Speaking after the match on Saturday which saw Diego Costa end the match with an elbow, slap, chest bump and kick-out yet not one single card given against him, Zouma had said “We’re not surprised because we know Diego.

“Everyone knows Diego and this guy likes to cheat a lot and put the opponent out of his game.”

“That happened in the game but he’s a really nice guy. We’re proud to have him, like the other players, and we’re happy to win this game today.”

But on Monday he took to Twitter to backtrack and say:

Yeah, yeah, Kurt, blame the ‘language’ issue.

Nothing to do with Mourinho at all.
