Our friend, football writer Emanuele Giulianelli, is back with more tantalising tidbits regarding our supposed move for Karim Benzema.
This time, he’s generously revealed that we’ve rented a private jet for the Real Madrid man and will announce the transfer just before our kick-off with Liverpool on Monday. Very specific.
Arsenal are believed to have rented a Gulfstream private jet to accommodate Benzema on Sunday evening.

I’m not entirely sure whether this football writer genuinely knows, or at least believes he knows, information about our potential new signing; whether he’s just having fun with us; or whether he’s just doing this for attention.
