Reports on Monday that Arsenal have completed a deal for Petr Cech were premature, it has been confirmed by various sources.
Daily Mail claimed that a deal was done on Monday afternoon but there still hasn’t been official confirmation or comment from either club and various agencies and representatives of the player have commented saying that nothing was done.
Cech spokesman Viktor Kolar tells @SajChowdhury: “Transfer of Petr Cech is not closed yet. We will inform the public as soon as it happens.”

Viktor Kolar is the known agent of Cech and clearly the transfer hasn’t been completely signed off.
Yet
Nonetheless – it only hasn’t been signed off “yet” and in Kolar’s own words it is a matter of “when” and not if.
He still hasn’t said whether or not that transfer will be to Arsenal but with Cech wishing to stay in London it seems pretty sure that he will be an Arsenal player in time for next season.
