The Arsenal first team opened their pre-season tour with a match against Colorado Rapids on Monday night (or Tuesday morning in the UK). Unfortunately, thanks to his continued recovery from an ACL injury, Hector Bellerin couldn’t play any part in the match.

Instead, the right-back headed out to the Fox and Hounds Bar, the official Arsenal Supporters Pub in LA, to watch the game alongside local fans who didn’t have a ticket for the event.

One of those fans caught Bellerin on camera singing along to an Arsenal chant as he watched the game:

It’s great to see the 24-year-old connecting with the fans whilst he’s unable to take part on the pitch. Hopefully, he’ll take that renewed bond with the supporters with him when he does finally recover and start playing again.

It should have been a good night at the pub all around, as Arsenal won 3-0 with goals from Gabriel Martinelli, Bukayo Saka and James Olayinka.
