Hector Bellerin has completely torn into Arsenal Fan TV and most Gooners are loving life as a result.
Bellerin recently became the first active Premier League footballer to speak at the Oxford Union, an opportunity Mesut Ozil turned down, and opened up about a range of topics from his days at Barcelona to his outrageous fashion sense.
One topic the 22-year-old touched upon, which has only just come to light, was his opinion of Arsenal Fan TV. And it wasn’t positive.

If you’re aren’t aware of what Arsenal Fan TV is, it’s YouTube channel which gives a select group of fans a chance voice their opinions or concerns about the team. Usually after a match when emotions are running high. At least, that’s what it probably started out as.
Now, it’s become a money-making circus. The fans regularly featured on their YouTube channel have become minor celebrities for slagging off the team they’re supposed to love and generally being embarrassing.
It’s no longer for Arsenal fans, it’s for opposition fans to watch and laugh at.
Bellerin didn’t hold back in his criticism of the group of fans that take part in regular Arsenal-bashing. In fact, he claims they can’t be proper fans.
“I don’t think there’s players who go on the internet to watch Arsenal Fan TV,” Bellerin said, reporting the Evening Standard.
“It does sometimes pop up on your timeline. I see it sometimes, some friends say ‘oh have you heard what that guy on Arsenal Fan TV said.’
“It’s so wrong for someone who claims to be a fan and their success is fed off a failure. How can that be a fan? There’s just people hustling, trying to make money their way, which everyone is entitled to do.
“For us players it doesn’t affect us. If they want to have fun with it then have fun. When you grow you realise what is important to you to take [on board].
“If a coach comes to me and says you’ve done something bad I’m going to take that advice. If someone from Arsenal Fan TV says this guy needs to do this or that I’m not going to listen to him.
“They’re entitled to their opinion and the way they want to do it. If people find it funny then go watch it.”
The majority of Arsenal fans are practically wetting themselves over the right-back’s comments.
It just goes to show that the players are noticing what’s being said and they don’t find it funny.
Here’s what Twitter had to say:
Hector Bellerin is spot on, Arsenal Fan TV is shockingly embarassing

What Bellerín said about Arsenal Fan TV is the 100% truth. Creates such a negative aura around the club.

HECTORRRRRR!! @ArsenalFanTV

When your rival fans enjoy your ‘fantv’ more than your own club fans, then there is a big problem. AFTV is toxic to @Arsenal in many ways. The show thrives on the lousiness of the negative few.

Loving Bellerin's comments on Arsenal Fan TV. It really is a cancer of the club. It literally does profit (REAL MONEY) from Arsenal doing badly. Creates a negative aura around the club.

Let's get something clear @MrDtAFC. Hector Bellerin isnt disrespecting the fanbase by saying what he did about Arsenal Fan TV. He's calling out 15/20 people hungry for fame who make success off of us being shit. He's absolutely spot on and how defensive you are over it proves it.
