Emi Martinez started consecutive games for the first time this season, and Tafari Moore featured for his new loan club.
On Friday, Moore completed a loan move to Wycombe Wanderers. The 20-year-old was immediately thrown in to the first team the next day, starting against Colchester United.
Wycombe won the match 3-1, and the Arsenal youngster was very impressive. Their manager Gareth Ainsworth told Sunday’s Football League Paper: “We had a couple of goal of the season contenders and one almost-contender from Tafari.
“He’s an Arsenal right-back with pace. You look at their first-team right-backs and they’re very good attacking-wise. But I thought he did some real good defending.”

Meanwhile, Emi Martinez finally started consecutive games for Getafe, after five months at the club. The 25-year-old kept a clean sheet as his team won 1-0. Hopefully he’ll get a run in the starting eleven now.
Stephy Mavididi started for Charlton against Bury as well, as they won 1-0. He was substituted late on. Although he couldn’t get a goal this time, he came very close with another impressive run:
Stephy Mavididi is certainly one to watch for Arsenal. The 19 year old striker has been impressive while on loan at Charlton Athletic of League One. What a goal this would have been. (Video via @EFL) #AFC pic.twitter.com/9ZcEsHP80F

Marc Bola also started for Bristol Rovers in a 0-0 draw with Blackpool. Finally, Lucas Perez played 90 minutes of Deportivo’s 2-1 loss at home to Valencia.
Cohen Bramall and Carl Jenkinson continue to sit out Birmingham City’s matches. Takuma Asano also didn’t feature for Stuttgart as they beat Hertha Berlin 1-0. Joel Campbell is still recovering from injury, and Kelechi Nwakali could take part in VVV-Venlo’s friendly on Monday.
