Juventus are looking at Argentine defender Ezequiel Garay as a replacement for Leonardo Bonucci.
- Bonucci made a shock move to AC Milan
- Garay could be his replacement
- Arsenal have been linked with Garay several times over the years
The Serie A champions have found themselves unexpectedly needing a centre-back after star defender Leonardo Bonucci made a shock £35m move to AC Milan. According to reports, Valencia centre back Ezequiel Garay has been identified as Bonucci’s replacement.
New Valencia manager, Marcelino, is reluctant to let the defender go this summer as he rates him very highly. The Argentine has been linked with Arsenal several times over the years.
Arsenal will soon be looking for new centre-back as club captain Per Mertesacker will retire at the end of the season, while Laurent Koscielny battles through injury problems. Calum Chambers is also being linked with a potential exit this summer.
Garay, always a good performer at whatever club he ends up at, might have been an easy and affordable option.
