Former Arsenal defender Bacary Sagna is wanted by Crystal Palace and West Brom.

  • Sagna was released by City this summer
  • He’s considering offers from France

Sagna, 34, joined Manchester City on a free transfer in 2014 so that he could have a fresh start. He was released by City this summer, as manager Pep Guardiola wanted to refresh his defensive options with younger players.

It seems that Sagna won’t be a free agent for long, though, as he reportedly has offers from Crystal Palace and West Brom, says talkSPORT. Sagna was considering offers from France, but could yet remain in the Premier League.

Next month will mark ten years since he joined Arsenal from Auxerre, in what turned out to be a bargain buy. He made 213 appearances for the Gunners, playing at right-back and centre back, winning the FA Cup in 2014.

He was a solid and consistent performer for Arsenal over the years and it’ll be nice to see him signed by a good club.
