Arsenal travel to Wembley to face Manchester City on Sunday for a place in the FA Cup final.

Most people seem to think that Arsene Wenger will stick with the back 3 he played at Middlesbrough and that’s understandable. Wenger himself has said that it’s an option and clearly said it was to provide a more stable defence.

It didn’t do that, because that wasn’t the reason he switched at all.

Hector Bellerin has been carrying an ankle injury for a while now and clearly needed a rest. With injuries to Shkodran Mustafi, a rusty Per Mertesacker and a Brazilian who can’t be trusted, this was the best option.

I fully expect Wenger to revert to type against City.

I could, of course, be wrong.

I also have this horrendous feeling that Wenger will turn to Francis Coquelin for this game, but I’m ignoring that, and him, and going for Ramsey alongside Xhaka,

Up top, well, who knows?

In goal, we would have started David Ospina had he not been injured, and while Wenger will most likely turn to Cech, I have a sneaky feeling he will hand Emi Martinez another shot in goal – and be roundly criticised for it, despite how poor Cech has been all season.

This is my best guess. At this point, I’ve as much faith in my prediction to pick a lineup as I do in Arsenal’s to win a game.
