Despite not particularly playing our usual fluid style of football, Arsenal have still managed to rack up the most Premier League passes for August.

During our opening match of the season, the visitors, West Ham, managed to enjoy 58% possession, which is practically unheard of. A couple weeks later, Liverpool had the same amount. Although the results were very different (we obviously lost 2-0 to the Hammers and drew with Liverpool), the issue that our passing game might have been diminishing was very much the same.

However, apparently this is not the case. In August, we somehow strung together 2564 passes.

Well, there we go. We’re definitely going to win the league now!
