The Captain, Mikel Arteta has warned Singapore that the team is on its way.

Whether this is genuinely a warning or just a friendly reminder is unclear. However the midfielder is looking forward to the trip and meeting the fans.

After bad luck with injuries last season and subsequently Francis Coquelin taking his place in the starting lineup, Arteta will be looking to get a solid pre-season under his belt in order to challenge for a spot. This is a great opportunity for him and the coaches to see how far he’s come and how far away he is from peak fitness.
