Sparta Prague are reportedly interested in bringing Tomas Rosicky back to the club this summer.

The 33-year-old is out of contract with the Gunners in the summer and it is very likely that he will opt to leave rather than spend another year as little more than a bit part player and it’s hard to blame him.

Robbed of a number of years through injury, he has only a handful left to play at this level and for the Little Mozart it is surely all about getting minutes on the pitch rather than pounds in his bank account.

Rosicky joined Sparta Prague in 1988 and remained with them until 2001 when he moved to Borussia Dortmund. Arriving at Arsenal in 2006, he has made 242 appearances for the Gunners, scoring 28 goals – most of them against Tottenham.

While Arsene Wenger has said that the situation will be sorted by the end of May, I cannot see Tom staying and that makes me sad.
