Aberdeen Football Club, commonly known as “The Dons,” is a professional soccer club based in Aberdeen, Scotland. The club was founded in 1903, and has competed in the Scottish Professional Football League since its formation in 1898. They are currently playing in the Scottish Premiership, which is the top tier of Scottish football.

Aberdeen has enjoyed success in the past, particularly in the 1980s under the management of Sir Alex Ferguson. They won the Scottish league championship three times in a row from 1984 to 1986 and also won the Scottish Cup in 1982, 1983, 1984, 1986 and 1990, and the Scottish League Cup in 1985, 1989 and 2014.

The team plays its home matches at Pittodrie Stadium, which has a capacity of just over 20,000. The club has a large and passionate fan base, and the team’s main rival is traditionally considered to be Celtic. Despite not having the financial resources of other teams in the league, Aberdeen FC, is known for its strong team spirit and work ethic, which have helped them to achieve success over the years.
