Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka has been nominated for the Premier League’s Player of the Month award for October.
Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka has had an excellent start to the season so far, and he continued his strong form in a couple of Premier League appearances in October.
Saka was vital to Arsenal’s win over Southampton early in the month, providing two assists and scoring a goal as the Gunners won 3-1.
The 23-year-old then scored Arsenal’s opening goal against Liverpool last weekend, despite the fact he was just back from injury.
Perhaps it should be no surprise that Saka has earned a nomination for the Premier League’s Player of the Month award, joining seven other nominees.
Facundo Buonanotte (Leicester City), Josko Gvardiol (Manchester City), Bryan Mbeumo (Brentford), Cole Palmer (Chelsea), Matz Sels and Chris Wood (Nottingham Forest), and Danny Welbeck (Brighton) were the other seven nominees.
No player provided more than Saka’s four goal contributions in October, despite the fact that every other nominee played an extra game.
Saka missed out on Arsenal’s game against Bournemouth through injury, which only underlined his importance as the Gunners lost 2-0.
You can vote for Saka here, with voting closing at 12:00 GMT on Monday, November 4th.
