Arsenal and Chelsea are monitoring Said Benrahma ahead of the summer transfer window, with Leicester City also viewing him as a top target.

ESPN report that Arsenal and Chelsea are both monitoring Said Benrahma. Brentford rate the winger at £30m, after his crucial role in their promotion push so far.

Leicester City are also in the mix. They see Benrahma as one of their top priorities, but they’ll need to sell players first. According to the report, Leicester have a budget of around £20m, so they couldn’t afford Benrahma from the off.

Then again, arguably Arsenal are in the same position. It’s not as if the Gunners have a huge transfer budget, particularly if they don’t make the Europa League. They’ll need to try and bring in money through the market as well.

The Daily Mail also recently put Arsenal and Chelsea in the race, though they added Leeds United as a third candidate.

Right now, Benrahma is focusing on the Championship play-offs. Brentford lost 1-0 in the first leg of their semi-final against Swansea, so they need some second-leg heroics from the Arsenal target.

Benrahma has 17 goals and nine assists in 44 appearances this season.
