Eddie Nketiah is ‘highly likely’ to go on another loan this month, but Arsenal still have plenty of options on the table for him, according to reports.

Nketiah ended his loan spell with Leeds after one final appearance against West Bromwich Albion on New Year’s Day. The timing worked out pretty well, as Leeds faced Arsenal in the FA Cup in their next game anyway.

Nketiah couldn’t feature for his loan club in the match, and if he wanted another loan he couldn’t play for his parent club either. Players can’t feature in competitive matches for three teams in one season.

That bought the player some time for think about his next move, and Bristol Live claim he’s using it. They write that Nketiah ‘has plenty of options’, and despite the bookies suggesting Bristol City are the favourites, Bristol Live imply that may not be the case.

They do add that a loan is still ‘highly likely’ though. Kasey Palmer and Jay Dasilva have both put in a good word to Nketiah about a move to Bristol.

Sheffield Wednesday, Nottingham Forest and Brentford are all in the race too from the Championship. Meanwhile, Fortuna Dusseldorf and FC Augsburg are serious suitors from Germany.

We should know more very soon, as they won’t want to waste too much time with Nketiah unavailable to play for Arsenal or anyone else.
