Arsenal are reportedly looking to sign Le Havre defender, Harold Moukoudi.

Arsenal are allegedly looking at bringing 19-year-old Le Havre centre-back, Moukoudi, on board and the Daily Mail claim the Ligue 2 club are willing to let him leave in January.

The defender has under two years left on his current deal with Le Havre, Riyad Mahrez’s former club, and therefore could be a good budget option for Arsene Wenger considering about 60 (three) players are potentially leaving for free next summer.

Arsenal sold Gabriel to Valencia for £10m in August and didn’t bring anyone in so perhaps signing Moukoudi would be a good move. Especially if Shkodran Mustafi still wants to leave as well.

The Frenchman has been capped three times for his country’s u18s and has already made nine appearances for Le Havre this term after breaking into the first team in April.

Paul Pogba and Dimitri Payet both came from the same academy so the lad could be destined for big things. Emphasis on could.

He’s flip-flopped between Le Havre and US Chantilly since 2006 but has now stayed at Le Havre since 2012. Therefore, he could be looking for a change.

Plus, he seems to at least pay attention to the Premier League:

The teenager is an imposing 6ft3, which would make him one of our tallest current defenders behind Per Mertesacker who stands at a gigantic 6ft6.
